Our massage services are designed to address both acute and chronic muscular tension, support stress reduction, enhance circulation, and promote overall physical and emotional well-being. Available every Friday, these sessions provide professional therapeutic care in a comfortable, welcoming environment.
We view massage as an essential component of health maintenance, not merely a luxury service. Regular bodywork supports your body's natural healing processes, helps manage stress before it becomes chronic tension, and provides an opportunity for physical and emotional release.
Our therapist utilizes various techniques tailored to your needs, including deep tissue work for chronic tension, Swedish massage for relaxation and circulation, trigger point therapy for specific problem areas, and myofascial release for restricted connective tissue. Each session is customized based on your current condition and goals.
We're committed to using organic massage oils and products, free from synthetic fragrances, parabens, phthalates, and other potentially harmful ingredients. This aligns with our holistic philosophy – there's no point in supporting your health while simultaneously absorbing endocrine-disrupting chemicals through your skin.
What to Expect
60-minute or 90-minute sessions.
When you arrive for your first appointment, you'll complete a brief intake form that asks about your health history, current areas of tension or pain, injuries, and any conditions that might affect how we approach your massage. This information helps us provide safe, effective treatment.
Before your massage begins, we'll have a brief consultation to discuss your goals for the session. Are you seeking relaxation and stress relief? Do you have specific areas of chronic tension? Are you recovering from an injury? Do you prefer lighter or deeper pressure? This conversation ensures your massage addresses your actual needs.
You'll be provided privacy to undress to your comfort level and position yourself on the massage table under fresh, clean linens. Most clients undress completely, but you may keep on whatever makes you feel comfortable – your therapist will work effectively with whatever you choose.
The massage itself will be tailored to what your body needs. Your therapist will check in about pressure and comfort throughout the session. Communication is encouraged – if something doesn't feel right, if you need more or less pressure, or if you have questions, please speak up.
During your massage, you may experience the release of tension, both physical and emotional. Some clients find that bodywork brings up stored emotions – this is completely normal and safe. We provide a non-judgmental space for whatever arises.
After your massage, you'll be given time to slowly transition back to alertness. We'll provide water and a few minutes to discuss how you're feeling and offer any recommendations for post-massage care, such as hydration, stretching, or heat/ice application.
